Cocktails are priced like it's a premium cocktail bar but quality is average. Service is average too, while eating for the food they were ready to give the bill. Overall, I'm amazed at the pricing for a simple Mexican meal
As I've mentioned in my other reviews, Bishop Ranch in San Ramon has so many great restaurants, but C Casa is one of my absolute favorites! All of their ingredients are so fresh and consistent. It doesn't feel heavy like other Mexican food, but still so so satisfying and keeps me full!I always get the C Taco Salad and add some kind of protein to it. The salmon is always my go-to (PERFECTLY COOKED but will dabble in some steak or prawns when I'm craving something different! Note: There is no indoor seating at this time, it's all outdoors on a vibey patio setting. Some of the tables have a fire pit (as pictured! Recommend requesting if available :
I came here on a weekday evening for happy hour and it wasn't busy at all. We sat inside and the service was quick and our server was attentive. Food-Happy hour Nachos not! $12): super good! This was the highlight of our meal. The white beans and black beans were really soft and the chipotle aioli really tied everything together! Happy hour Dos taquitos $12): I loved the crunch in these. The chicken was flavored great, but it was a little on the dry side. The guacamole and tomatoes helped balance the dry chicken. Happy hour Mesquite wings $13): super crunchy and flavorful. I would get these again, but I wish there were more for the price. We also got some Casaritas, which were good, but I wouldn't say they are worth the price for what you get. Overall, I would come back for some happy hour bites, but not outside of that!
Casa is an absolutely delightful Mexican eatery nestled in the heart of Bishop Ranch. The tantalizing flavors of their tacos combined with their signature mango-infused drinks are an absolute treat for the taste buds. What sets Casa apart from the rest is their inviting outdoor seating area, which provides the perfect ambiance to unwind and savor your meal. Whether you're seeking a moment of relaxation or simply looking to indulge in mouthwatering Mexican cuisine, Casa is the place to be.
Proof that changing tradition doesn't equal innovation. The food was fine, drinks were fine, service nice and quick, however; $100 after a 15% tip for a small plate of nachos, 2 tacos, and 2 relatively modestly sized margaritas seems a bit absurd. This is the taqueria to visit if you hate taquerias. For what you get, I dont think this place is the spot. Unless you are dining with someone who is gluten intolerant.
