Contribuiți la feedbackA very horrible experience today. Had ordered through door dash for pickup. Ordered veggie burger and fries for which we paid extra. Also ordered for a paneer gravy which they had mentioned as onion tomato base. Very much eagerly waited for the food, to our disappointment the paneer gravy was just saag paneer. Really ruined our lunch plans. Please make sure to provide the orders correctly. The only good thing was the mushroom stuffed starter which we actually liked.
This is the best North Indian restaurant I have found in the Bay Area so far! Every dish on their menu is delicious. We tried the pani puri, chole kulcha (the best), raj kachori (the best), paneer paratha, and falooda rasamalai. If you are craving North Indian/Punjabi food, this is the place to go. I have not found a better North Indian restaurant in the Bay Area that is even close to this one. The ambiance is amazing and the restaurant is nice and clean.
For our main course, they did not have the dish we wanted so we settled for makhni dal with naan. However, the makhani dal lacked the butter or cream that would make it truly makhni. I would not recommend this place for Indian main courses, but their chaat and chole bhatura are delicious. They do offer vegetarian options and there is plenty of parking available.
Lunch review: We were first time visitors as a party of four - two adults and two children. We arrived for lunch around 12:30 PM and found the restaurant to be completely empty. We were seated quickly and ordered three mango lassis and a matha (chaach) which were deliciously creamy. For our main course, we enjoyed Dal Makhani, Shahi Paneer, spicy mixed vegetables, six Tawa ROTI with butter, one PARATHA, and one Naan with butter - all of which were very tasty. While we found the prices to be a bit high, the food quality was excellent and we all enjoyed our meal. We were disappointed to learn that the kitchen was closed for take-away orders, and we hope they consider staying open later for customers still dining in. Overall, it was a good experience and we plan to visit again, preferably in the evening. They offer plenty of vegetarian options and accommodate dietary restrictions with sugar substitutes. The kid-friendly options like the crisp Paratha and buttery Naan were particularly enjoyable. Thank you.
Not worth for the money..there are good restaurants than this. I wouldn't recommend my friends..
