Pho Viet Harbor - San Rafael

One of two Vietnamese restaurants in Marin. It has cozy stands and the food comes quickly. It is usually delicious food, but this time around it was not good? We had simple egg noodles with tofu that lacked taste; salt and pepper Calamari that were only ok; Skallop eggplants with vegetables and basil were the vegetables delicious and the scallops underboiled; and tofu egg rolls that were wonderful. The service was fine and I guess the manager gave me a discount for the underlying scallops. I could see I come back here to try other dishes and give him a chance again.

I never had a satisfactory meal here. I am not much for Pho in general, but the rest of their menu items are excellent. Especially like the fish with yellow curry and fresh vegetables. Fresh ingredients, cleanly prepared and tasteful. A good value. As an update, I am always impressed by the consistency here. I don't live in the area anymore, and when I come to visit, I get exactly what I expect.

Delicious Pho, almost traditional. Good part of the tendons and trips. fast. Inside is clean and welcoming.

We ordered the lemon grass beef, but it looked more like a curry with lots of onions. No other vegetables either and wasn?t very spicy a bit of a let down. However, the beef Pho had a tasty broth. Would order the Pho again.

Ordered charbroiled pork with egg roll over rice noodle. The noodle was a bit warm so it sucked up more fish sauce than I'd like. Had to ask for extra. Pork was tasty and egg roll was good.
