La Vier Homestyle Cuisine - San Rafael

Great interior and exterior seats, nothing on the menu is boring. The Horchata with an espresso shot is a beautiful surprise. Gabriela is so welcoming and a nice host. A great place to boot time away, and easy parking. My favorite place in San Rafael.

Amazing experience with a parklet. We had the shrimp cerviche and flank steak. So many different entrees looked incredible. We went down on a Thursday night. Every Thursday and Friday from 6-10pm on 4th st has closed off streets with live music every 4 blocks. This event goes on June-September. Definitely check out both!

It was suggested to me by a friend Chris C who is a regular at LaVier to try the place. I am glad I did. The food was absolutely delicious the service was excellent. We will definitely go back.

I sat outside with friends in a cozy setting, and even though it was a cool night, the two heat lamps by our table kept us warm and comfortable. The waitress informed us that they were short-staffed, but the service remained good. The three servers who attended to us were all very friendly. The portions were generous. We tried the vegetarian queen (a dish with tortillas) — it was delicious! We also had the mole enchiladas and vegetarian chile rellenos, both of which were excellent. We didn’t try dessert because we were all too full!

Amazing food! Chef Guillermo and his wife Gabby are fantastic! The dishes are well-prepared, delicious, and affordably priced. Come and enjoy the wonderful cuisine and excellent atmosphere!
