Centrale - SAN QUIRICO D'ORCIA

Had breakfast here as part of our self guided walking tour (via Francigena). We are normally use to fairly substantive breakfasts in preparation for walks of 15 to 25 km, with several thousand feet of altitude gains and losses. Our hotelier authorized 2 buoni colazione which ended up being a cappuccino and a coffee. I know that the tour company pays more than the €2,40 pp that this cost. We had lunch there later that day. Our server was friendly, helpful and efficient, all round great. The penna with tomatoes and basil was OK. But nothing more.

We were there by chance, as we stayed nearby…and now we are there every now and then, as we liked it so much. Nice Bar, great people, joyful place nice staff.

I am part of the staff would be part of the review and it does not seem appropriate, but thanking our customers who surround us with affection seems to me the least. I'm happy to have found wonderful people, a wonderful job.

Pleasant place and quality sandwich: to recommend!
