Staff was very weird, i sat in the corner on my lunch break trying to enjoy my food. I took my medication for stomach issues and after that the staff wouldnt stop staring at me, they came and took pictures of me multiple times and had a worker clean mytable while i was still using it. Bought a full lunch and was only able to access the bathroom after providing a reciept to theperson who took my order. They proceeded to talk about me in Spanish about how i looked homeless and was taking too long toleave. I work nearby and was just trying to enjoy a small lunch with the happy hour deals but i did not feel comfortable at allfrom the staff constantly going on about me sitting in the corner looking weird.
I went for a late meal and ordered my food as usual. When I got to the checkout, I handed over my bill, only to be told that there was absolutely no change available. It’s a business, and if you want to avoid losing customers, you should have change on hand at all times. I even tried to negotiate by asking if I could add more food to my order, but the cashier didn’t make any effort to assist me. It felt like they had already finished their closing procedures and just wanted to wrap things up and leave.
I ordered two bean burritos with extra sauce, but they barely added any sauce at all. They charged me 50 cents for the extra sauce on each burrito, and there was hardly any cheese on them. They were so small that I don’t understand how they can even be called burritos. It cost me almost $5 for two bean burritos, which used to be a dollar each when they were twice the size.
This Taco Bell was surprisingly good compared to others in Richmond or San Pablo. The woman who helped me was incredibly kind and even gave me two extra tacos.
