Moku Hawaiian Bbq - San Pablo

Wow the food here taste like authentic Hawaiian food! I ordered the chicken katsu and it didn't tasge oily at all. Also got the kalbi short ribs and those were nice and tender. The large portions are also a plus.

I tend to stick with the same three items but no matter what this team never lets down! The flavor is always on point and quality never dips. This team deals with a lot of DoorDash orders while maintaining in-person order and quality, and their service never faulters. Appreciate all of you there

Had the Spam Musubi and Curry Chicken Katsu Mini and Lumpia rolls and they were all super delicious! Will recommend and have again!

Around the East Bay, this is the best Hawaiian BBQ spot that I have been to. The meat portions are very generous comparative to other stores. The store is also very clean, well-staffed, and upscale given its location in the plaza. To boot, the food is delicious and prepared quickly; for sure my new go to spot for all Hawaiian BBQ related orders. I recommend getting the BBQ Chicken Combo.

First time ordering from Moku and pleasantly surprised by the quantity of the food in the Chicken Combo, which included BBQ chicken and chicken katsu with rice, macaroni salad, and steamed vegetables. More than enough for a couple of meals. The BBQ chicken was flavorful with the slightly sweet glaze you'd expect. The chicken katsu had wonderful crunch on the breading and the inside was not dry, but nice and tender. I would suggest separating the katsu from the BBQ to preserve the crunch. The macaroni salad was also very good. The rice was a little dry and the steamed vegetables were bland. Overall, it's a great value and I'm glad I tried it. I'll order from them again.
