Absolutely wonderful evening. eating was fantastic with delicious drinks pairs and it was also educational. so glad we made this on our trip to cozumel!

We visited on 11 January 2023 and we were blown away! they begin with the introduction into their chef, sous cook, waitress and guide. After sitting in a small and intimate dining room, her tour guide starts the video and leads it on a tour through mexiko. as they travel in every region, their guide explains the history and culture, while their waitress serves drinks coupled with their meals. they will visit 10 areas of mexiko and serve small meals from each region. from seafood to vegetables to pork until dessert and more. 10 experiences tour is just that-10 experiences that all touch their senses without ever having to leave their seat. the meal took approx. 2 1/2 hours and the drink and eating were perfect with the presentation step. this is a “must do” while in cozumel.

The highlight of our trip! This experience is inventive and still traditional. The pairings are one point and complement each dish perfectly. Usually we can pick a favorite course but everything was so good there is no way to pick just one. For travelers interested in learning about the cuisine, history, and culture of Mexico this experience can’t be beat. My husband, who is a sommelier and a restaurant professional, was beyond himself and was near tears at the end due to the dedication and execution by the team. A truly astounding and beyond memorable dining experience that cannot be matched in Cozumel or most places.

WOW! This event will be remembered by us as one of the best evenings we have had during our multiple visits to Mexico. We are lucky to have enjoyed the offerings of such talented residents of Cozumel. Chef Alexandro and his partner Lorena greeted us at the entrance to their beautiful, spa-like home where we were offered refreshments and introduced to our two animators/guides, Luis and Adrian and our server, Javier. After a few moments of casual conversation we were guided to our table. The eating area is well decorated and cozy providing a sense of comfort and welcomeness. There is a video being projected on the wall at the front of the room. This video introduces the regions from which inspiration for each dish and drink pairing has been drawn. It offers classic scenes from each region while you are eating each dish. It is an exceptionally crafted compilation video. Our animators/guides truly demonstrated their knowledge and their pride in country while introducing each region, the dish and the pairing. THE FOOD, OMG, each dish is perfectly prepared, attractively presented and is appropriately sized for enjoying the flavours while still allowing room for all ten different dishes. Later, on the ride home, as we discussed the dishes amongst ourselves, we could only find our favourites. No one had a dish they disliked. THE PAIRINGS, each drink and wine is from Mexico. Luis and Adrian provided expert guidance on savoring each beverage revealing an exquisite harmony between food and drink – each enhancing the flavors of the other. The most discussed amongst us was the palate cleansing Chilcuague . It is uniquely Mexican and was a pleasant surprise to our North American mouths. THE FINISH, we were joined at our tables by our hosts, Chef Alexandro and Lorena, and all staff for a few moments of thanks and small talk. We left the home sated, happy and hoping there would be an opportunity to taste the upcoming Version 2.0 of these experiences. To all who read this review
