This place is now called Emilio's. My lasagne was reheated and served lukewarm. Should have known better but was tired and hungry and I ate it...WRONG move...most likely it was sitting out and unrefrigerated so had some bacteria action going. Had diarrhea for the next day and a half. On top of this (could be an honest mistake), the owner totaled our bill an extra 100 pesos. All in all, the food was pricey for the quality. You can go to one of the best restaurants in SMA for less so here you pay a high price for the view.

This is a small restaurant hanging over one of the best views anywhere. It is a favourite for a fun dinner on a warm evening (of which there are many in San Miguel de Allende). The staff and service are warm and friendly. The antipasto platter is excellent and paired with a bottle of wine could be dinner. The pesto pasta (both types of pesto) are excellent. The food is all fresh and not overly spiced (as Italian food should be - emphasis on fresh ingredients!)We have been there on several occasions with 6 or 8 people and have always enjoyed the relaxing evenings. Dinner for 2 is romantic. Highly recommended.

Todo es genial, la comida y atención valen la alegría en esta visita, un lugar para disfrutar de la vista y tranquilidad de los tumultos

Solamente por la vista vale la pena ir aunque sea a tomarse algo. Las bebidas y comida son ricas, a buenos precios y bien servidas. El servicio es excelente, el personal es muy amable y el sitio está muy pintoresco. Recomiendo la terraza si hace buen clima y más si quieres contemplar el crepúsculo. Un imperdible en SMA.
