La Fondita - San Miguel de Allende

You do not need to spend a fortune eating at the trendy chef-owned restaurant to eat real and excellent Mexican food. Just go to La Fondita. Great food, great breakfast! Great value! Nothing super fancy, just great service, friendly staff and, of course, great food!

Comida muy rica a precios muy buenos! El mole y los chiles rellenos están excelentes. El servicio muy amigable y sonriente. Muy recomendable!

You can pay double the price for Mexican food even in San Miguel de Allende, more than that in the United States and it won 't be better than at La Fondita. The ambience is a little 'hole in the wall ' joint but the food is fresh and homemade and the smiles are genuine Mexicana. Because it 's such a little place I asked if they washed the food in filtered water. Yes, I was told. I 've had the Flautas de Pollo which has shredded lettuce on top twice now. It was delish and no 'problems ' later.

Se pasaron con la comida: hiper rica, super bien servido. Pedimos chilaquiles con carne, cosa de otro mundo. Todo servido con pan dulce de entrada y frijoles con queso para acompañar. El café fe olla con canela muy original y riquísimo. Los encargados son super amables.

Ecelente lugar con una rica comida se los recomiendo :D es un lugar donde te atienden de forma muy amable
