The Counter - San Mateo

Didn't know what to expect because I had so many burgers, it's hard to be different with this article. When I first went to the counter I really liked how the place looked nice and clean the counters behind were immaculate they have TVs watching sports a small bar with some liqueur and beer they had a lot of Hamburger choice, but I'm just looking for something simple rolled and I like the fact that they are different options of beef bison chicken, so that they definitely have healthier options I have the most friendly bungalow that is

Buzzy, fast, efficient, lively. Indoor and outdoor seating and service. Order from a broad menu or design your own burger using a tick box page. I don't usually try burger joints but I saw a sign outside advertising the Impossible Burger .... had to try it. First surprise was being asked how I wanted it ... I opted for medium. It was so meaty, I was genuinely tempted to send it back on the basis that it was beef. It was very good better than most burgers I've tried. My fries had a stray onion rings but I forgive that in view of the overall enjoyable experience.

A terrible service here. Had to wait for 10 minutes to place our order. When we set ourselves, half the best of my party was dirty. One of the glasses of water had lubricated a kind of sauce on the outside. There were no condiments brought to our table. When our order arrived, a plate lacked a product. When we asked for the missing article, some clean cutlery, spices and a new glass of water, the server seemed disturbed. She never brought the water. We asked a few minutes later, it never came. After all, I had to get up, go to the counter and ask someone for water. This is by far the worst experience that I have eaten in a LONG time, but not the end of the world. HOWEVER, which is particularly disturbing, is that this restaurant automatically adds 20% Gratity to any din-in series. So basically EVERYTHING was wrong from the beginning to the end, but we were forced to give a tip that I think would be an extraordinary service. The food itself was really good, but that was the ONLY redeeming quality in this place. I would like to say that the next time I would only get the food to enjoy it in a cleaner environment, but they add 10% luck to the recording. After this experience, I refuse to pay a tip again and again. Don't come back.

(processed for accuracy) Only $20.21 for 1 hamburger, no drinks, pommes. Standard baking, beef, salad and tomatoes. Lucky is forced to eat everyone. Just too expensive for what I got. The service is just a server that takes off the tray.

Bad service and very moderate food $55 for a cheeseburger, grilled cheese, shaking and tons not sustainable when there are many better options. Used to love it, but last 3 times was uneasy and overpriced
