Panda Express - San Mateo

I visited this restaurant on Friday and was served by a Latin girl who gave me very small portions, making me feel like a 3-year-old. The Chow Mein dish was disappointing as it had more cabbage than noodles. I would not recommend returning to this place unless they make changes to their servers and chefs. Disappointing overall.

This is a fantastic spot to grab some Chinese fast food. The customer service is excellent and they offer new menu options. The food is always freshly prepared.

They decided to charge the same or more, although the portions are much smaller. Also? with a lot of filler ingredients such as cabbage and celery in the noodles. The honey walnut shrimp did not taste as good as in other places, even if it comes in a large frozen bag. The employees did the best they could with the long lines. Serving staff wore masks, but not the chefs.

Erratic service. Sometimes multiple trays are empty, the line is forever, and it 's anything but express. When you get the food, it 's usually good. Other times everything is moving well and the trays have fresh food. It 's your proverbial box of chocolates never know what you 're going to get.
