Ijava Coffee Eatery - San Mateo

This restaurant is fantastic! They offer healthy meals as daily specials, which are always a treat for lunch. The staff is quick and friendly, making ordering a pleasure. I look forward to visiting this place every time—such wonderful people!

Since I began working remotely, this has become my favorite go-to spot. The coffee is reasonably priced and has a nice flavor, and the staff members are incredibly friendly. There’s plenty of space to sit and work comfortably, and it’s never overly crowded—though it does get a bit busier during lunch since they have a great lunch selection. The coffee shop closes at 3 PM, but you can continue working as late as you like, as this space is shared by several companies in the building. While the placement of the power outlets isn't ideal for using a laptop, there are plenty of them available.

It was so good I completely forgot to take a picture, I had the daily special of falafel and hummus. The iced Thai tea was delish and refreshing.

The food is fantastic and there's plenty of space for meetings or studying. Just a heads up, it usually closes at 3 PM unless there are still customers around.

Excellent food, lots of space for meeting/studying. Their prices are good.
