Hummus Mediterranean Cuisine

I recently dined at Hummus with my team for dinner. The restaurant had a very nice decor and atmosphere. Our group of five found a suitable table, but I wouldn't recommend it for larger groups. We ordered at the counter and received our food quickly. We started with a sampler platter as an appetizer, which included 3 falafels and various dips. There was an abundance of dips in comparison to the falafels, but they were tasty and great for pairing with our main dishes. We also enjoyed some delicious tea to warm up on the cold night. I ordered the chicken kebab plate, which came with two skewers of chicken, salad, tzatziki, pita, and plain rice. It was filling and tasty, especially when paired with the dips from the sampler platter. Overall, everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. Parking was easy to find on a weekday night, right in front of the restaurant. The cashier was also friendly.

The quality of food and service at this restaurant has significantly declined in the past year. A recent order of lamb beef platter took 20 minutes longer than expected due to overcooking. The service can be cynical at times, and it's frustrating to be asked for a tip when the service is lacking. I have been a loyal customer since 2005 and have witnessed the ups and downs of this establishment. During Covid, they cut back on ingredients to an extreme degree, with items like the Kale Salad suffering the consequences. The portion sizes have also decreased over the years, and the service from Oleh was rude and arrogant. The lack of connection with customers is disappointing compared to the excellent service at Sapore across the street. The owner and staff at Hummus Mediterranean Kitchen have lost my business due to their poor service and lack of customer care.

I had a salmon wrap that I really liked at this restaurant. However, I found the price of the wrap and the sauce on the side to be a bit high. I ended up paying about $18.50, including tip. The service was decent, and there was self-service for water. The atmosphere was a bit loud, so I would have preferred it to be quieter. This was my second time eating here, and overall, I would recommend it for its delicious food.

Casual Middle East Mediterranean restaurant. You order at the counter and then they bring it to your table. Lots of freshly made dishes and they have a gyro rotisserie. The salad was huge and very good. The wrap was a little small but still good. Overall good place for a quick meal I would go back. FYI there is a 3% health charge

Delicious flavorful food. Spacious nice dining area. Good service. Convenient hours for late lunch or early dinner or anytime dine. The We will be back.
