The ice cream was delicious, with a wide variety of flavors to choose from. The staff was friendly and happy to provide samples, unlike other places. I really enjoyed the ice cream and the conversation, and I will definitely stop by again when I'm in San Mateo.

There is a wide variety of flavors to choose from, so if you are new to Cold Stone Creamery, be sure to ask for samples. I recommend getting the waffle cone for your ice cream. We tried the black sesame and taro flavors, but the thai tea was also delicious. We even gave the wasabi ice cream a taste and were pleasantly surprised by the spicy kick it had while still being enjoyable. The scoops are large, so one per person should be enough.
