Amici's East Coast Pizzeria - San Mateo

The lively music and nostalgic vibe of the restaurant set a fun atmosphere. I enjoyed the cozy seating by the open windows. The manager was very kind and made up for the waiter's mistake of forgetting about me. However, the food tonight did not meet the usual standard of other locations. The BBQ chicken pizza sauce was overly sweet and the dough lacked freshness. The cheese lasagna was bland and the Caesar salad dressing was not as good as before. I didn't get to try the wings. It seems like the restaurant may have changed food suppliers, affecting the quality and taste of the dishes. I may not return to this location unless there are improvements.

Amici's pizza never disappoints! They always have the best pizza options. The crusts are some of my favorites. I dined outside with my pets. The staff was so friendly and attentive (they even brought out water bowls for my cats). They gave greatrecommendations. I am looking forward to returning!

Wow. As a New York native, this tasted just as good as back home.

I knew the food was gonna be good when the Italian waiter was a little bit sassy?

Lasagne large?...I think not. $25.00 too much for too little.
