La Toscana

Our son in law and daughter met us from the train in Madrid, and off we went on the avila road. me being me I felt hungry, miguel said I know the place to visit,its down by the lake. well I knew where the lake was, you cant miss it as you travel along, but I didn't realize there was a restaurant down there. Thank goodness Miguel in his position of senior sergeant for the guardia civil in the are took us to the door. we were shown down to a balcony which overlooked the lake, what a place to have a restaurant!!!!!!.The food came, it was superb. we finished off the meal with a whiskey licquer, paid the bill and left. what a lovely meal in a fantastic location

Good food. good attention but slow, we wait more than 15 minutes until they came to ask what we wanted to drink. prices a little high for what it is.

A very cozy restaurant, we order pizzas that were very rich and a very good Tuscan salad, the service in your time and the very good waiters, would repeat.
