The Ginger Pig Rooms - San Marino

Excellent works dinner and overnight stay at the Ginger Pig yesterday. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Dinner for 10 was excellent in their private dining room. The baked cauliflower was just amazing, as was the breakfast granola. Highly recommended. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Had a short stay. We were in Room 1 that has a huge bathroom with a shower and separate bath. The bar downstairs is well stocked and has attentive staff. All up, an excellent experience. Good food and good service. We turned up on spec on a Saturday lunchtime as a family of 5 adults. They were very accommodating. The food was well cooked and tasty, served in a timely, friendly manner. Service: 5 Location: 5

Overall disappointed with the vegetarian food. Food drinks: The butternut squash was unpleasantly firm also the endive. One person's potatoes had a similar unpleasant firm centre. The chips were truly amazing and overall our group enjoyed their meal. Great for meat, but disappointed by the vegetarian food. Service: 3 Location: 2

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Ginger Pig and we look forward to returning. We wanted to visit Brighton but decided to stay in Hove because of this hotel and restaurant. It's a great location a few steps from the King Alfred leisure centre and easy access to buses into Brighton and walking distance to shops and other restaurants. The service was outstanding there was a warm greeting on arrival and help with getting our bags to our room. The room was lovely large, comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant was outstanding and the service was very attentive and professional.
