Umami Sushi - San Marcos

Was disappointed in the food. It was just three of us. I ordered a roll with Salmon Shrimp. The Salmon did not look or taste great. This later upset my stomach and was ill from the 3 pieces I ate. My husband and sons were alright but this is not the greatest sushi place. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

I don't know what happened but this place is trash now. We always used to get sushi from here. It's been about 9 months since we ate here. We had a pick up order $67 dollars worth of sushi. They ran out of something so we didn't even get our full order. We did get refunded but I can not believe how SMALL the sushi rolls were. We're talking size of a quarter and 5 little pieces. The doctor octopus literally tasted like DOG FOOD!!! How disgusting!! $15 for doctor octopus!! I am so sad this place went to sh*t.

It was busy when i went there but the food was amazing, i didn’t like the miso soup BUT the sushi was phenomenal especially the veggie dumpling appetizer Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Love this place food is always great! Dining room is rather small though. The nachos are to die for!

I have been to this place about 4 times, and every time I go it is a vibe. The server is so nice and attentive. I love the music they play there. The service is very quick too. I always get the spicy ramen and the first time I got it, it was really soupy. This time, they made it perfectly. Just noodles and spice. I also love the deep fried gyoza. The sushi is always delicious. I normally get deep fried sushi. That sake will get you right too. 10/10!
