The Tap Room - San Marcos

The service and drinks were excellent at this restaurant. They have a wide selection of beers on tap. The food was decent overall, with the only disappointments being the overcooked chicken on the salad and the overly thick onion rings. On a positive note, the burger was fantastic with no complaints.

This queso burger was unlike any other I've ever had. It was incredibly delicious. I was visiting from out of town and decided to order the queso burger and fries, which were absolutely amazing. The waitress also kindly gave me fantastic cocktail recommendations.

The ribs at this restaurant are excellent - fall off the bone tender. The chicken and waffle appetizers are the best I've ever tasted. They are a must try!

First time in San Marco haning out with my bro from out of state. We found this place on Google. Just looking for a cold beer and maybe a snack. What a great surprise. The food was delicious and the beer selection was awesome. Tasting beers from all around Texas was actually fun. After a few beers, well maybe more, we played pool then darts with more suds until the wives called and said party is over. Should have left them in California. Have fun.

Taproom is in a nice hidden nook, I enjoyed my experience, the food was great. They serve several different types of beer and there were at least three different sports playing at a time so plenty of variety. The wait staff is quick and attentive and depending on when you go it can be a little more rowdy than other times. But the experience is fun and there is plenty to look at.
