The Old Spaghetti Factory - San Marcos

Every year at Comic-Con, we make it a point to have at least one meal here. The food is great, and the wait time is usually short.

I ordered the mizithra and the spumoni, and both were absolutely delicious, as expected. I value consistency when dining at a chain restaurant. I also enjoyed an espresso martini, which was perfectly strong, just how I like it. I sat at the bar, and while the service was decent, it could have been improved; they missed the chance to offer me another drink until after I had finished my meal.

The food was decent, but not outstanding. However, it was hearty and satisfying. The atmosphere was pleasant. As for dietary restrictions, they can prepare their pasta dishes gluten-free.

Very good Italian food. Each main course comes with a salad or soup for around $20!! The staff was really nice. The ambience was really good. The restaurant is very large, but it is well demarcated so it doesn't feel like it.
