Lucy's Tacos - San Marcos

We recently moved to San Marcos and were on the hunt for delicious tacos nearby. We found some incredible tacos here, and they're quite generous in size. We're really pleased with our discovery!

Absolutely delicious! I tried the chicken fajita taco and the beef fajita taco, and they were amazing. I'm so glad I discovered Lucy’s!

It's been nine years since we last visited San Marcos, and I was hoping Lucy's food truck was still by the river. I'm so glad it is, and the food was just as amazing, if not better, than I remembered after all this time. I wish we could convince her to move to Florida, haha! It's definitely a must-visit spot, especially among all the college students. By the way, I always order the chorizo burrito—it's incredibly spicy and delicious!

Conveniently right across from Strahan Arena at TSU! Tiny little taco truck with big flavor. Quesadillas were so cheesy and flavorful. Worth every penny. The wait for the freshness of the food is worth it!

We were looking for a taco spot that was open on Christmas. Luckily we found Lucy's Tacos! The owner was very sweet and kind! The food was also delicious. We ordered the chilaquiles verdes with carne asada, a sausage egg and cheese taco, and a carne asada taco. The green sauce is a little spicy but is so good! It was made fresh so there was a little wait but was worth it! My mouth was watering as I could smell the meat being freshly cooked. Honestly, I will be going back to eat there and am so happy I found a new taco spot in San Marcos!
