Naked Fish (the) - San Luis Obispo

First walk, friendly staff welcomed us at the door, and we were sitting fast. This place has a clean and comfortable atmosphere. Our server was really nice. The sushi was fresh and so delicious! The Saki was on the spot. I also loved the seats. They had live music playing whatever is a plus. In any case, this will be a common point.

Excellent dishes! Chefs were attentive and are just awesome at their creations. Service not that great and needs improvement. I had to rely on another very friendly female server. She was great. Our main male server never made any attempt to follow up. He basically ignored us. Tall blonde guy.

We sat at the sushi bar, and the chef was incredibly personable, preparing some delicious rolls for us. He was very attentive and took care to note my allergy when I mentioned it.

This was the best Japanese meal I've ever had. We went for dinner on a Sunday evening, and the restaurant was quite calm. The service was exceptional; our server was very attentive and answered all our questions thoroughly. We decided to share several dishes, and everything we ordered was delicious. My favorites were the tempura and the California salad, especially the citrus-tahini dressing on the salad with the candied macadamia nuts—so good! We even saved room for dessert, and I'm glad we did because the green tea crème brûlée was absolutely amazing. It had a subtle green tea aroma that was just enough to enhance the dessert without overpowering it.

Oh my gosh... Sterling is amazing!!! He really knows his fish, as well as everything else on the menu, including the suits and desserts. This guy is fantastic! Every dish is perfectly executed. It’s a wonderful culinary experience.
