Firestone Grill - San Luis Obispo

Every time we drive down the 101, I have to stop at Firestone All time favorite tri-tip sandwich I have EVER had.

This was by far one of the best tri tip sandwiches I've had! Came in on a busy Sunday afternoon and the line was out the door.

If they are in the inner city of slo, they go here! we would always firestone for a large number of fries strike and sneak them in the fremont ?back on the day. because we honest pommes are better to eat during a film. lolanyway the Tri-Tip sadwas is great. get it with an additional side of the “warm” sauce on the side. oh and the avocado bacon cheeseburger is great! the pommes are great. when they're hot. to season on them is a mix with seasoning salt and sugar. super good. that can be a little annoying when they see the line. the music can also be very loud as this is a college city / hangout. also they do not take any phone calls anymore so they need to use the terrible “rub” app, whatever that is.

3/22: When you are in SLO, the tri tip sandwich isa must! So where do you go with so many choices? I've tried 3 different places in the general area such as Ribline and Old SLO. My favorite is still Fiestone!Tri- tip sandwich- tender, juicy large chunks of tri tip. Moist and not dry. Amazing bbq sauce on roll makes it a delicious sandwich.Chicken tenders- Not bad but nothing special.Onion rings- crispy and fresh. Ready to be dipped in ranch sauce, ketchup or bbq sauce. Very reasonable prices!Service is quick and fast. Lines of people can build up really fast as well. Alcohol available. Lots of street parking available.Was driving back to the San Francisco Bay Area and needed to make a stop for one more tri tip sandwich. Already had two tri tip sandwiches on previous days. This is one of the best! The hot and tender meat. Generous portion of meat. Just a little bit of sauce and the nice French roll.
