Blaze Pizza - San Luis Obispo

Super yummy!! I have lots of diet restrictions due to allergies and I was able to customize a super yummy pizza that worked for my restrictions and was vegan!! Extra delish and lots of choices. #Veganuary

I used to love coming here. Dough is vegan and they have vegan cheese so I assumed they understood. I had went here a few times and had great pizza, until my boyfriend and I went in and watched the two people in front of us order the their pizza with pesto and marinara on the same pizza. The guy making the pizza spread the pesto which has cheese in it and then poured and spread the marinara on top of it rubbing the spoon of marinara into the cheese pesto on the pizza, and then he put the same spoon back into the marinara. And he did it for both the regular and spicy marinara. You would think if a restaurant has vegan listed they would inform their employees to make sure things don’t get cross contaminated. Not to mention people having allergies. Will not being going back sadly.

Incredibly surprised to see that they actually had vegan cheese and vegan chicken! I was very glad to have pizza with cheese on it :

You have the best pizza and for the right price... the staff is very friendly and always there to welcome you when you come to the counter.

Fast service, fantastic selection of fresh ingredients and an amazing value. My new favorite place in SLO city.
