Tu Tai - San Leandro

I can't resist visiting Tu Tai every time I'm at Kaiser San Leandro. They have the best Bun Rieu, their crab roe vermicelli soup (B9 on the menu), which is bursting with flavor. It's tough to find this dish elsewhere. Currently, Tu Tai only offers takeout, with no dine-in option available. The takeout packaging includes all the ingredients, toppings, and condiments, and I’m very satisfied with it. I'm also excited to try their Banh Mi next!

Tu Tai offers the best banh mi I've ever had! The bread is warm and crispy, filled generously with meat, and everything tastes incredibly fresh. Even though I hadn’t been there in years, when I visited recently, the owner remembered me, and the food was just as delicious as I recalled. I also tried the fried egg rolls, which were served hot and fresh. I left completely satisfied!

This lovely family-run restaurant is a real treasure. The owner is exceptionally warm and welcoming. I absolutely adore their Bun Rieu and lotus salad—both are absolutely delicious!

The Beef Banh Mi is an absolute must-try! It's our favorite and unbelievably delicious.

The staff who served us were extremely pleasant, and the service was quick. The food was quite tasty, with plenty of vegetarian-friendly options available.
