Pho An Hoa - San Leandro

Didn't take any pictures but was underwhelmed by the experience. The guy taking orders won't take drink orders at the same time we are ordering food, and everything was just okay. Went there because a cousin wanted somewhere nearby but too many other good Pho places in the area.

I got chicken noodle soup which was pretty good portion wise I think the broth could add a little bit more flavor and the chicken was rubbery and had like a fungi taste to it so I didn't eat much of it. period but then I got the fried chicken with the egg roll over white rice and salad which was good. The lemongrass chicken was yummy it was supposed to be spicy and it wasn't and I think they could have gave a little bit of a bigger portion size. And then I got steamed veggies which were okay. Overall I probably be back I just won't get the noodle soup.

This is my go-to Phō restaurant in the bay area. I've been going for years and i'm never disappointed with the food. Dining is good and take out is convenient. I recommend the Phō Ga and their drinks!

The food here is great but I always have a problem with something like a hair coming out of the spring rolls. Now a ROACH fell from the vents……..

Very bad serving attitude from the mid aged waiter!I had a party of 7 for lunch. The restaurant was crowd. I wrote my name on the waiting list. I saw a long table of 8 seats with only a couple at the end. So I politely asked the couple whether they might move to another vacant table. They agreed. I also told another waiter on it and he agreed. I sat at the table for 8 people with 6 friends arrived. The mid aged waiter had a black face and did not like what I did. The mid aged waiter asked us to move to another table. When we left our table, we noticed that the table was made with two small tables which normally seated 4 people. Very upset with the arrangement! Another waiter serving the food also wondered why 7 people were squeezed at the two small tables. There was another table with 8 seats available but the mid aged waiter assigned 4 people to sit there but not us. Obviously, he didn't like us! It was my friend's birthday and we didn't want to make it awkward. But I will not go there again!By the way, mid aged waiter, if you see this message, I am sorry that I did something different from your plan system! Your two small tables gave us an opportunity to be close to each other. Thanks!
