El Batey - San Juan Puerto Rico

Loved this place when we were on Old San Juan! Reminds me of all the little dive bars I love in my hometown. Great drinks great conversation.

When you visit an historic city like Old San Juan, and you are looking for a real hole in the wall bar, with good drinks at excellent prices, and friendly bartenders, well this the place. Don't look for faux decoration. From the walls full of graffiti, to the old wood of the bar, the place is real. When you are walking by Old San Juan, just stop, say hi, have drink and enjoy!

One of the finest dive bars I've ever had the pleasure to visit, complete with an A+ jukebox.
