Everything is clean and put on the plates perfectly. The size was very good and the flavor was amazing. Thank you so much for the wonderful lunch
I was taken to this great little place by a local, and it was so good I came back again with friends to eat our last meal in Peru before catching our flight. Yes, I liked it THAT much. The restaurant is very small, looks actually like a bar and contains up to 15 people. It has a very local, laid back atmosphere. The table is communal, so I had a chance to talk a bit with my neighbors, and the owner, which is also the cook, is the nicest person. I don't speak Spanish so I just ordered the Mixto, which turned out to be a great dish of pork, bananas (or, plantains) and vegetables. For me it was huge - I ordered it on two different occasions and couldn't finish it both times. I think I paid less than 40 soles for it.The restaurant is located in Surquillo neighborhood, very close to Miraflores and about 7 minutes walk from Parque Kennedy, and totally worth the short walk to get away from all the tourist restaurants. I enjoyed it a lot and would definitely visit again next time I'm in Lima!
