Contribuiți la feedbackExcellent steakhouse, with first-class service. The rib was wonderful and perfectly cooked. The manager was very nice and made sure we were well served at dinner. They even brought us to NYE, although they are full.
If you have a desire to eat STEAK while you are in Miraflores, I cannot imagine a better place than Cabrera's at 140 Enrique Palacios Av. My first choice was the Rib Eye Steak. Oh wow, sensational. Maybe the best steak I've eaten for years! I went back a few days later and ordered Rib Eye Steak AGAIN. Then I went back to Porterhouse Steak. Just fantastic. The service was great; they treated our party of 6 perfectly. Cabrera's restaurant made our stay in Miraflores unforgettable and very pleasant. Thank you.
Well cooked and presented food; Steak cooked exactly to order and with many sauces and accompaniments that it was nice to try. attentive and professional staff. Pretty expensive for the area, but not excessively so and nice for a treatment. Desserts are big and rich.
LA CABRERA “Casa de carnes by Gastón Riveira Cocinero” Wow! As always..... Trip Advisor was right again! In our travels we always like to follow at least couple of places recommended by TP. Surco is a very nice neighborhood but not as busy as our last trip in Miraflores (Lima, Peru). We decided to visit this place as we are crazy foodies.... What a great surprise to be greeted by the manager Dessy Salinas, his English was really good, we visitedd right after New Years. We had a large group so they directed us to a private room named Argentina, as you entered you feel that warm feeling and smell of the food. The atmosphere was just perfect, we stop to see the selection of wines, that was espectacular! Daniel, brought the menus and to our surprise they had an excellent explanation of the variety of items we didn’t even know they existed. Here comes Daniel our all smiles and knowledgeable server, with all the different foods from steaks to pasta to salads, he was so patient into explaining what each sauce was for, pouring our champagne and his runner Andre always attentive to our needs. Daniel explained we could have as much of the sauces, mashed potatoes, sweet potato brûlée, garlic in this caramel sauce that was just phenomenal! I got all excited he brought a ring bell so if you needed anything else or more of the side dishes or his service or anything you can imagine, well... just ring the bell and they are there in no time! THAT WAS GOOD SERVICE! Not even 5 seconds later, someone was there to attend to your needs. The menu was so divine and full of surprises, the flavors of the steaks are one of the best I’ve had for a while. It was such a private and enjoyable evening you completed forget you are in a restaurant. To end the dinner they bring you desserts and all kids favorites, lollipops. My respects to the manager Dessy Salinas for leading such a wonderful place you will never forget! Ladies I wont spoil it for you....but you have to visit the Mrs. bathrooms, a lot of thought was put into that. To close the beautiful dinner with 5 stars you can ask for a plate that you decorate, children and adults drew their flags from their countries and we wrote our names, we were representing 4 Latin America Countries and US too, the plate now hangs in their wall. Thank you LA CABRERA PERU by Gastón Riveira for a wonderful evening full of excellent food, wonderful service and lots of fun and laughter. Will recommend this place in a heart beat and we hope to see you again soon. Muchas Gracias Señores
Found this restaurant merely by chance since my husband was craving a good steak.Boy,am I glad we did! It was very quiet this night, but we were given a cozy table for two. There were two waiters attending to us, and between their bad English and my bad Spanish, we ordered the dry aged steak and some salad. We were recommended a red Malbec with our food. The steaks were served just as we ordered, and came with home made fries and 15 different sauces to dip our meat in. Strong, sweet, bitter, sour, stronger, sweeter, more sour, salty, and so on. It was amazing! I have never had apple sauce with my steak.I have never had sweet and sour onions with my steak. Or any of the other sauces for that matter. It was a culinary lesson for us both to experience how the taste of the meat changed with every different sauce. I will never forget it. Our waiters were so attentive and nice all the time. I lost my napkin, and almost before it hit the floor, I had a new one in my lap. We were given a Pisco sour on the house after our meal. Then we were asked to sign our own plate, wich was hung up on the wall. The whole evening and experience was very special and I can highly recommend this restaurant, both for the food and the service.
