The Big Kahuna Bar and Restaurant

We used the free breakfast that came together with the room package. Breakfast was okay. Nothing special. Come lunchtime, we just ordered Adobo with rice, poutine and fresh fruit shake and our bill was 770php, which I thought was overpriced. The poutine was nothing special, although the adobo tasted good. My friend said that her pizzas tasted good. The service depends on what time and who will serve you. If the restaurant manager expects a good and fast service. If the staff depends on who the staff is.

We ate our free food: Surfers Meal. We added pancakes. We are very happy in our breakfast. In addition, we also ate our dinner and we love the sinus pig and grilled bangus. On the other hand, we should try their pizza...and pasta at 10 a.m., but the regular menu is still at 11 a.m. So we can't try.

We have arrived here 4 hours before check-in so we can have early lunch at 10 o'clock. The restaurant staff said they could not accept our lunch orders, as they served breakfast. Understood. They accepted our pre-order at 10:47, but served our dishes pretty fast after 11:20. We ordered the cheese pizza and meat lovers pizza for the children; the Salo Salo grilled set with Squid, Bangus, Inasal Chicken, pork bbq, Kinilaw na Tuna and Talong Salat.; the crispy Pata, Kare Kare, black tuna and chicken cordbleu. The food was fine. Nothing spectacular. The crispy Pata was a disappointment because it seems that it was cut before it was fried, so it did not have the combination of scarcity and chewiness that you are looking for in crispy data. The Kare Kare was obviously boiled with peanut butter and used beef vats. Not the best we tried. The star for me was the inihaw na bangus-tasteful. Net, lunch itself was common, but we enjoyed it with a view of the sea. Another point - the remaining rooms were unclean and my request to clean them before use fell on deaf ears.

Cool little restaurant with great fresh fish. Ambiance is unique. Surfing motif is fun and well done. Super coconut shrimp! Always return here when we’re in Cocoa Beach.

The restaurant has excellent beach view and affordable food. Staff were polite and respectful. Suggestion: staff should have name tags.
