¡Increíble lugar! El patio es maravilloso, te sumerge por completo, la mezcla de aromas y sabores es inigualable. El ambiente romántico y el servicio excelente hacen de este lugar algo único.

We found this spot through a friend who casually recommended it as a great place to eat. But they failed to mention that it was a better place to see and be treated as a member of the family. The restaurant is a converted home on the outskirts of San Jose del Cabo. We happened to be the only guests on a night just before they opened for the season. What a treat! Our every request was immediately handled by the attentive staff. Our every bite, even better than the last. I had the fillet mignon covered in a delectably spicy but not overwhelming chipotle sauce. It came with grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes. I will remember the dish far into the future as one of those things you always try to find elsewhere, but nobody else can recreate. The ambiance is something that also cannot be recreated. This place is guaranteed to give you and your party lasting memories. Be absolutely sure to visit and come hungry. One thing I will say to anyone looking for a quick dining experience is to go elsewhere. El Matador understands the importance of a lengthy stay at the dinner table so that conversation and community can flourish throughout the evening.
