Yifang Taiwan Fruit Tea - San Jose

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Since it was a weekday, it was quite quiet. I ordered the Yifang Fruit Tea with boba and requested it to be 30% sweet. The level of sweetness was just right (though it could have been a bit less), and the boba was incredibly soft. There was an interesting orange peel jelly in the drink that had a fantastic texture, which I really liked. Additionally, there were some crunchy seeds that were quite unique and surprisingly enjoyable. The service was also exceptionally friendly and quick!

I absolutely adore their black tea latte! It's crafted using 100% pure fresh milk, without the addition of any cream or powdered milk. The proprietors are exceptionally welcoming; whenever I visit the shop, they can always be seen offering their customers a warm greeting.

AMBIANCE There's some seating, but not very much. SERVICE You order at a kiosk and pay that way! I highly recommend you check Snackpass before you purchase in case they have a deal. You pick up at a window. FYI: they speak Mandarin here if they don't understand what you're saying in English if you use Mandarin they will respond. I asked for an extra empty cup and the server giving me my drink didn't hear me and the lady behind me told him in Mandarin that I wanted an extra empty cup. He responded right away and said in Mandarin that he didn't understand me and then I switched to Mandarin said it was all right hahaha. Ultimately, great service! Not all boba places will give you an extra empty cup! (Its great if you have kids and want to split one drink between 2 3 kids) DRINKS Yi Fang Fruit Tea THIS IS WHAT THEY ARE KNOWN FOR AND FOR GOOD REASON! It's delicious and has real fruit in it! I especially like the crunchy passion fruit seeds. But $6 for a regular size drink and $0.50 for a large is steep but I think this is the reality we live in. I might have to consider making this at home... OVERALL 5 stars for service and extra cup! Will come for when I need a treat!

Dropped by a couple times to grab boba. I've tried the Pineapple Green Tea and the Yifang Fruit Tea at 50% sweetness level. I loved the Pineapple Green Tea. It was perfectly refreshing! I didn't quite like the Yifang Fruit Tea, but it wasn't too bad. It just wasn't my cup of tea.This location can get quite busy, but the wait isn't really that long. The location is also very clean. Pretty solid boba tea and service.Depending on the day, parking can be a nightmare. A lot of people don't know how to park and can take up 2 spaces or park way too close to the lines that it's an extremely tight fit for your vehicle! The parking lot is shared for the whole plaza, and the plaza does have a grocery store and a few pretty good restaurants.

The flavor of their black tea is wonderful, and the boba has a chewy texture. However, I found it to be a bit warm for my liking. Despite that, I absolutely love their drink!
