Taqueria El Abuelo - San Jose

I ordered a large carne asada quesadilla (which was not very big) and 2 el pastor tacos. The carne asada meat was not seasoned well and my plate was watery, causing my quesadilla to become soggy. The el pastor meat was dry, but the flavor was decent. Overall, it was not what I had anticipated.

This restaurant is a hidden gem with delicious food and friendly staff. I highly recommend trying the taco salad, as everything I've sampled there has been enjoyable. It's a cozy spot for comfort food, not health food.

Stop by to get a super burrito. While the service was a 3 star service, the burrito I got was the worst one I had for a long time. Food was absolutely tasteless. Do not recommend this place!
