The meat and deli sections are impressive, offering a wide variety of options at great prices. The staff is friendly and always quick to open additional registers if there is a line.

I have just moved to San Jose and have been here twice. Both times the facility was very clean and nice, the customer service e was excellent and it reminds me of a simpler time in the 80s or 90s before walmart target type stores. I enjoy this place and am willing to support them over the huge conglomerates to be honest. Cheers

Worst manager Nick!! I came in for a birthday cake and they said no one can help me bc they didn't have anyone at the register but there were 5 people available and everyone refused. a waste of cake they would be throwing everything out and I wanted to buy a cake at 7:30pm. Horrible mean white dude. NICK SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED THAT HE IS A MANAGER AND IS UNABLE TO TAKE A CAK FROM A CAKE SECTION TO THE REGISTER!! what type of establishment hires a manager that does not know how to use a register?! seriously was probably because I was mixed colored he took 1 look at me and said no cant help. . what a racists. How do you have a manager that does not know how to work the register?!?!?!This is an embarrassment to their business and totally against environmental respect the cakes were being throw out and I wanted to purchase 1. He had such attitude will never step foot in here again. Thank God for safeway
