Luna Mexican Kitchen - San Jose

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious. Be prepared to wait a bit to be seated, depending on when you arrive, but it is definitely worth it. The menu clearly indicates dietary restrictions and offers tasty vegetarian options. The staff is friendly and the drinks are good as well. This is a great spot for a family outing or a date night if you're looking for a delicious meal.

It's one of the best mexican foods in san jose area. Indoor seating is nice. Try chicharrones

We went to Luna's on 11/5 and they had no chips, no romaine lettuce and charged us 2.50 to substitute a dressing from a spicy one to balsamic. So disappointed. Won't go back for awhile.

I came here since they supposedly accommodate for gluten free, and as someone with Celiac, it can be hard to find a place that takes it seriously. Unfortunately, I ended up getting sick anyways, from what I can only guess was cross contamination or shoddy kitchen practices. Other than that, the food itself was fairly mediocre, and so was the service. People who came in after ended up getting helped first, items ordered were not brought out, etc. To top if all off, the person who dined with me (who is not gluten free), ended up getting food poisoning. Stay away if you are Celiac, and need to be gluten free. If you aren't, then just beware.

Perfect place for brunch, mimosas were delish, carne asada burrito was amazing took half home), and the Serrano crema/salsa was insanely good! Great service and fairly priced. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town. Ariana was our server and she nailed recommendations and was kind, efficient and fast!
