Cj Bbq - San Jose

At first glance, this restaurant seems a little shady. It’s tiny, it looks almost like a cafeteria, and instead of hearty Texans, you’ll find a Korean couple behind the counter. But don’t be deceived… their BBQ is really good! I usually get the lunch specials here, which consist of your choice of two types of bbq meats, potato or green salad, and garlic bread. I always get pork ribs, hot links, and a side of potato salad for my meal. At less than $10 (and I believe it’s actually somewhere around $7), I think this pretty good value for my money. The pork ribs aren’t the best I’ve ever had, but they’re solid. They are always tender, fall off the bone ribs, and the sauce is tasty too. The hot links are really good, and I’m always disappointed that they’re a little too spicy for me so I can’t eat too many of them. The potato salad is nothing special. The garlic bread is ok – not great, but not bad either. The beef ribs aren’t as good as the pork ones (though, they sure are huge), and I’m just not a fan of bbq chicken in general, but I believe they give you a fairly generous portion. Overlal, a solid meal for less than $10.

Ordered online. Wait for 30mins they say never got the order and can’t find the order. the online price is cheaper. When I say I can pay the higher price at the shop to reorder it. Then they able to find the online order and cancel it right way. End up with I forgot my wallet. ;

Hole in the wall Korean BBQ and ramen joint. Don't expect much for ambiance, just a walkup counter and take your food to go. There's no restroom available and no free water.The cheese ramen is a delicious surprise creamy, with a smidge of spice. The sandwiches are a pile of meat on bread, no veggies and sides are extra. I got the King sandwich, which is a pile of pork rib meat and hot links on a simple white bread roll. It was very good, but I'd like to add kimchi next time for some variety.
