Blue Water Seafood And Crab - San Jose

Overall, the dining experience was lackluster, especially given the high prices. The service was good, but the oysters were disappointing. We ordered the Miyagi oysters, but they were missing something. It was unique how the sauces were served in small dipping dishes. The tempura had a bland taste and the fried pickles were overly salty.

I tried the basket of fried catfish and shrimp Alfredo at this restaurant. The catfish was amazing, with a tender inner and a crispy crust. The shrimp were good as well, cooked perfectly with a light Cajun seasoning. The Alfredo pasta was delicious with plenty of shrimp and overall it was a great meal. The service was excellent too.

The food was delicious. My only complaint is that I paid $14 for three oysters in the oyster Rockefeller, but they were fantastic.

Ok culinary experience, but the server must be more attentive. the restaurant has seating in the indoor and outdoor areas and has a beautiful decor/ ambiente. we were there for happy hour, so only small tellers were given, ranging from ok to pretty good. service was pleasant and acceptable when the server was available; although this was far too rare an event. it was not busy and there were many employees milling. After our first order was served, however, we had to wait 10 minutes each time we needed something or order more food/drinks, to look around in a laborious effort to find our server, just to finally subdue a server of another table to ask them to find our server.

This was my first experience at Blue Water Seafood and Crab restaurant. The menu is impressive. The service excellent and the highlight was the food. I had Fresh fried crispy shrimp and a teriyaki bowl with scallop and calamari with choice of vegetables over rice. Everything was EXCELLENT fresh food. I ordered Another side dish the crab bisque. It was was greasy and I replaced with creamy clam chowder. I will be back!
