This is a very expensive restaurant. The customer service is not good and we felt we were just a problem to the staff. We were a group of 8 so not too many. We were a mixture of Spanish and Northern European. The salad (2 plates) was mostly old lettuce and totally of poor quality. The fish while very expensive was standard and nothing to go back for. The steaks were requested to be medium they were grossly undercooked and had to be recooked again and very tough with a lot of gristle. The meat dishes had only crisps, no potatoes or any veg. The plates were “dumped” on the table and we were not asked if our food was OK even when quite a lot of food was left uneaten. Some were asked for coffee but not all and they did nto even ask if we wanted dessert or any conversation on anything. The menu had menu del día on it but when we requested it were told “no not today”. It was a Monday so should have been available. All in all somewhere definitely to be avoided. Even when we left they said nothing and just ignored us our bill came to over 150 €!!!!!!! For lunch.

Stopped here today as a beautiful location in santiago del riberia right opposite Mar Menor seafront and beach. Took a while before waiter arrived to take our order. Three friends, we ordered coffees and i had a tonic water. We chose toastado with tomato and olive oil and pan with russian salad. Food and drinks were all good altho didnt get a spoon or fork or a plate to eat the russian salad. The waiter could have been a little more attentive. Great location. Typically spanish food and local customers.

We had visited this restaurant last year with family and had enjoyed the meal. We thought we would have a similar experience today, but sadly we should have gone elsewhere. We ordered cuttle fish to start and a salad with bread. Everything in the salad was out of a jar and pickled and the bread came dry with no butter or alioli. The cuttlefish also just looked as if it was from a tin and fried. I ordered salmon and the waitress asked whether I would like potatoes or vegetable, so I asked for potato, this arrived as a salmon steak and was also just deep fried with crisps! My husband ordered turbot and had a bad stomach after eating. I was so disappointed, I've never in all my life seen a. main meal in a restaurant served with crisps. The meal cost 60 euro, which if it would have been delicious I'd been happy to pay. You really can buy better in this area for the money.

We ate on the terrace. top quality products as always, the service of our first waitress and the surprisingly good price. recommended and repeated.
