Tofu House And Korean Bbq - San Gabriel

The service at this restaurant is fantastic - the staff are kind and the place is clean. However, the prices are significantly higher than they should be. The food is not worth the cost - even something as simple as rice is overcooked and dry.

During our Saturday lunch visit, there was only one waitress working in the entire restaurant which made the service extremely slow. Unfortunately, we were seated without a greeting and were not provided with a menu. After waiting for 10 minutes without being acknowledged, we decided to leave without placing an order.

The service at this restaurant is good, but there is only one person working the front of house, which can result in long wait times, especially when the restaurant is full. The sides are fantastic, particularly the potatoes and warm fish cakes. The spicy cold noodles are decent, but there are better options out there. The bulgogi is surprisingly enjoyable, even for someone who doesn't typically like it. The tofu soup is consistently delicious, with the seafood tofu soup being a standout. Despite the potential for long wait times, I have had multiple positive experiences at this restaurant and enjoy going back, especially when it's not too busy. It's understandable that the wait times can be frustrating for some customers.
