Food poisoning and Diarrhea after eating their octopus, boneless chicken feet and potato.
This restaurant is full of bold and unique flavors that may not be for everyone. One standout item is the marinated Japanese spicy scallops, which are delicious when served over rice with furikake. Other dishes I enjoyed were the Onion Oil Flavor half chicken, Chicken Paw with pickled pepper, Honey Comb Tripe, dried bean curd, black fungus mushrooms, and Potato Slices. The textures and flavors of each dish were impressive. I have only ordered takeout from this restaurant through Uber, but they always get my order right and use recyclable boxes. I highly recommend giving this place a try for a different take on traditional dishes.
This is by far the best spicy seafood I have ever had at Chinese restaurant Lao Zhi. The owner hails from Qingdao city in Shandong Province, China, a coastal city known for its abundance of seafood. With a history of colonization by Germany and Russia, the cuisine is diverse and flavorful. The dishes here are a fusion of Szechuan and Shandong styles, and I highly recommend trying the Spicy Seafood series - every item is worth a taste! This time, I tried their signature chili pepper chicken and once again, I was blown away by the delicious sauce. The seating inside is more suited for appetizers or combinations, making it a great option for takeout to enjoy at home. The interior is clean and simply decorated, and the owner and staff are friendly and knowledgeable - they really know their stuff!
Tried their spicy chicken and spicy scallops and it's very quick n tasty. The spicy scallops is a really good deal..About $20 with cash...its served cold in a glass jar so gp home and fry it a bit is best.
