El Bastion - SAN FRANCISCO DE CAMPECHE

Very nice food nice service! The servants was helpfull and splittet our bill without problems. Would go back if I go to Mexico again.

Food and service was fantastic. Location easy to get to. Prices were very reasonable and great atmosphere. Pictures depicting the history of Campeche surround the dining area.

This restaurant is centrally located near the cathedral. I really liked the old photographs that decorated the walls. I only had chicken soup because I wasn't feeling well, but this was excellent with a lot of meat in it. The service was the quickest and most attentive I have had in Mexico.

El lugar esta en frente de la catedral, es muy tranquilo, la atención es de 10 y los desayunos son deliciosos. Los precios son muy accesibles. Les recomiendo el desayuno maya y el bastión. Dos días desayune allí porque el sabor, lo vale!

A lot went wrong with the orders, while the restaurant was empty. No effort to understand the client. We had to ask 5 times for a single diet coke. And that was only one example. No sorry or apolegize. And they were still wearing masks. Sorry but, we have passed the corona crisis. I feels like the clients have a disease. Food was also at or under average. 1 Block south there was a street full of terassens and restaurants. El Bastion was a mistake. And than the proposed tip. Just sad.
