Za Pizza - San Francisco

Za Pizza is fantastic! The food is exceptional—my wife especially loved the crust. We ordered eight slices along with a giant salad. However, what really makes Za Pizza special are the people. It's a true neighborhood gem, complete with cable cars passing by. As tourists, we stood out, but after just five minutes of chatting, it felt like we had known the staff for years. They know all their customers by name and inquire about their families. Such genuinely welcoming folks! Keep in mind that there are only two tables inside and two outside, so you might need to stand and eat or take your order to go. Regardless, this pizza is definitely worth seeking out when you're in San Francisco. It’s a must-visit!

Hands down best pizza in San Francisco according to me and 14 of my closest friends. I ordered 6 pizzas in a last minute audible called by our group after we learned the place we had intended to go was closed on Mondays. I called in an order and 6 hot and fresh pizzas were ready in 30 minutes. The slices are nice and big and the crust is the perfect mix of soft and chewy with a light crunch. The pizzas are New York style so huge slices with thin crust that you have to fold in order to get it in your mouth. This is our only pizza joint we’ll hit when we’re in town.

I love everything about this pizza. Thin, light, fluffy, crispy and chewy. The sauce is lightly sweet and full of flavor. Best Za in SF. My only complaint is that I did not know about y’all sooner’ Ps. Get delivery if you must but this style is really at its best hot out of the oven.

Our food was delivered and was still piping hot!!! We had the Za Pizza , Buffalo Chicken Salad and large turkey Grinder. The Grinder and the Meat Za Pizza was so yummy! We were in such a rush to eat I didn't get a picture! I believe I used Za Pizza to bring my food.

It was very yummy food even though it was a crowded day, I got my take out right at the appointed time. I was impressed. The place looks very family oriented and arcades in the back that looks like it has new games etc we will definitely be coming back. It's a bit pricey but worth the money the teriyaki pizza was delicious!!!
