However, if you need to use the restrooms, you'll have to scan a QR code and hold your phone up to a reader. I assume their reasoning is that homeless individuals typically don't have smartphones.
This is an upscale grocery store where you can purchase items to take home. They offer a selection of prepared foods and have a small dining area as well. However, the prices are on the higher side.
The store is cramped, poorly stocked, and severely understaffed. Everything about this location screams "poor management," especially the long, sluggish lines, as only 8 out of 15 cashier stations are ever staffed at any time. This backup clogs the aisles, making it difficult for anyone to access the refrigerator cases and Powerbar displays, which are unfortunately situated right where the lines are. Out of all the Whole Foods I've visited in nearly a dozen states, this is by far the worst. To make matters worse, I've just discovered that this same disappointing store is responsible for fulfilling my online order. It’s no surprise that out of the 16 items I ordered, 5 were unavailable.
Nice to have this as an option withing walking distance of the Stanyan Park Inn and UCSF. Great selection of bulk foods.
Amazing selection and a great meat counter staff that guided us to success! We got exactly what we needed to make an outstanding meal for our whole crew!!!!! Well done WF!!!!
