Contribuiți la feedbackAs I walked in, I noticed one person sitting at a table, and I was warmly welcomed by an enthusiastic staff member at the counter. I glanced at the menu and decided to go for the Scott Street Omelet along with a coffee. The omelet comes with a choice of hashbrowns or country potatoes, plus a selection of bread. I opted for hashbrowns and sourdough. After receiving my large coffee and adding the necessary condiments, I chose a seat—there were plenty available, including outdoor seating. My food took a few minutes to arrive, and I have to say, the Scott Street Omelet is absolutely outstanding. I never would have thought that avocado, spinach, onion, and bacon would make such a great combination, but it really stood out to me on the menu. I'm so glad I chose it. The hashbrowns were standard, and the bread was good too. Overall, it was a fantastic breakfast, even though it was closer to lunch at around 11:30. I'm going to be in San Francisco for a couple more weeks, and you can bet I'll be back. There’s so much more I want to try, but I might just have to have that Scott Street Omelet again. You can find pictures of the menu board on Yelp and the restaurant's website. This place is definitely worth a visit for breakfast, and possibly lunch as well!
The food here is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and it's a local gem with plenty of seating available. It can get quite busy during weekend brunch, but that's a reflection of its great food and value. Some of my personal favorites include the Scott Street Omelet, the Portobello Mushroom Sandwich with sun-dried tomatoes and pesto, the Sweet Potato Fries, and the Caesar Salad. However, everything from the burgers to the fries and pancakes is reliably solid and deserves a strong four stars. You really can't go wrong with any choice here. It’s all delicious, affordable, and conveniently located within a short walk from where you or your party might be.
I discovered a fantastic place that serves vegan breakfast, which can be hard to come by. This spot was just perfect! They offer simple yet delicious protein-packed potatoes, and the staff is very friendly as well!
Whats kind of sad is I walked into this place thinking i was going to the juice place next door. Wamp wamp. Thats what happens when you are hung over! I ended up having a banana/orange juice/ice blend which was basic but cold and delicious. Ha. Then I had a veggie melt and while it did the job i can't say i ever order it again. Lots of onions, crazy melted cheese. The fries that came with it were of course not good. But, there is no way that after this item you would still be hungry. The space was nice for breakfast: both indoor and outdoor space. Patio wasn't cute by any means but hey you could breath fresh air. Also the cashier was nice. I would go there hungover again but i'd prefer acai bowls and the juice shop that supposedly exists.
We live pretty close by to this place so decided to stop by for a pre-football breakfast last week. I had no issues at all with this place other than it was pretty expensive for what is a pretty unassuming cafe place. But I enjoyed the food and the service was good and they even had a TV for sports. I got an english muffin egg breakfast sandwich and we got champagne for mimosas. All in all a good little neighborhood joint. Very quiet as well.
