Contribuiți la feedbackThe following review reflects my takeout experience DURING the COVID 19 pandemic. Oh, I've passed by this corner spot many times but never ventured in before COVID 19. Funny how the pandemic has completely altered my takeout choices within a certain perimeter of my home based on how many FitBit steps I need on a particular day. If I'm behind in the late afternoon, I usually get more ambitious with my circular walking routes, and if I'm traversing Nob Hill, I must be making up for lost steps. That's my only explanation for making an order at Thai Thai when there are a multitude of Thai and other Southeast Asian spots closer to me. I ordered two items here. First up were the $10 Fresh Spring Rolls which looked handmade with plenty of tofu, cucumber, carrot, and bean sprouts stuffed into the rice wrapper and more than enough peanut sauce (photo: [hidden link] . The fresh crunch was what I needed when I got home. The $14 Healthy Clay Pot Dinner Special was definitely tasty though how healthy it was could be a point of contention. I wished they offered a no rice option but I decided to indulge myself with the brown rice. Mixed with it were fried tofu, cashew nuts, sweet corn, snow peas, bits of carrot, taro strips, red beans, spinach, and raisins all cooked in sesame oil (photo: [hidden link] . Probably more calories than I bargained for, but I deserve some reward for wearing a face mask all day, right? FOOD 4 stars...good traditional Thai food that satisfies AMBIANCE n/a...looked nice enough but I was in and out pretty quick SERVICE 4 stars...it was all ready and nicely packed for my long walk home TOTAL 4 stars...Thai Thai is good good RELATED Lost on Nob Hill? Here's a collection of places I've visited and reviewed: [hidden link]
Wow. What a great random choice we went to for dinner! Friend I were driving around looking for a place to eat before heading to a concert everywhere else had no parking, so we were like oh Trader Joe 's has parking let 's grab a snack instead we bought a snack then walked out and saw thai thai and also saw the Chinese restaurant across the street. We decided to come here instead. it was a great choice! Good quality great pricing. Decided to try something different got their shrimp egg noodle dish. It was delicious! Crispy Panko shrimp w garlic spinach mixed in w some egg noodles! I had only half and had to Togo the rest for after the concert! If I were in the city, I 'd def go here again! :
We arrived about an hour before closing on a Friday night and were seated promptly. We started with the chicken satay appetizer, which was served with a curry sauce, peanut sauce, and cucumber salad. The chicken was tasty and the curry sauce added a nice flavor. The fried shrimp egg noodle dish was the standout dish, with crunchy shrimp and flavorful noodles with cilantro and hints of garlic. However, I wished there were more shrimp in proportion to the noodles. The chicken Thai fried rice was a bit underwhelming and bland. Overall, I may return to try other dishes on the menu in the future.
This place has great Thai food. I enjoyed the garlic green curry with shrimp dish it was so yummy. The portions of the yellow chicken curry was plenty and delicious. The inside of the restaurant was roomy and fun. The coconut milk ship with mushroom soup was so tasty. This place is so good that they named it twice, Thai Thai.
Nice Thai restaurant that is open late. The service is friendly and courteous. Clean restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. The Thai food is average. The Pad Thai with cellophane noodles was fresh but lacked the nice Thai flavor of the regular Pad Thai. It was fresh tasting but rather bland. The Tom Yum soup was good but not great. Best thing about this place is that it is open late for San Francisco.
