S R Lounge - San Francisco

I visited on a Friday night looking to unwind. While it’s generally easy to relax here, I found the vibe somewhat underwhelming. Upon entering, you'll notice that the decor is stylish, and there are plenty of comfortable spots to sit. The drinks were decent, but the highlight was the blueberry in the Old Fashioned. As for entertainment, there’s a good mix of options available, including free pool, games, Jenga, and a photo booth (just remember to bring $5 cash). However, there were a few downsides: - Many of the games were missing pieces! (For example, there were no body parts for Operation, and only three Battleship pieces.) - The lounge closes at 11 PM on a Friday! If you’re looking to stay out later, it might be better to consider other places. - The atmosphere was a bit lacking; it had a dead feel with most people just passing through to their rooms. Overall, SnoRe Lounge seems primarily geared toward hotel guests, and I even saw some kids running around. A useful tip: it can actually be a pretty good venue for events, so it’s worth checking out if something special is happening that night.

S&R, which stands for Salvage and Recovery, is a New York-style lounge connected to Hotel Zetta. The ambiance is relaxed, classy, and intimate, making it the perfect spot where you don’t need to shout to have a conversation. There was gentle background music that added to the atmosphere without being overpowering. I opted for the Brooklyn martini, which was so delightful that I ordered a second one, although sadly, the drink I initially wanted was no longer on the menu. As a group, we decided to share some appetizers, and my favorite dish was definitely the Brussels sprouts. It was wonderful to spend time with Art, Jean, Stan, and Ann. We had such engaging conversations that we never even made it to the game room, which features board games, shuffleboard, pool, and free Wi-Fi. It’s not surprising, considering how talkative we all are, and we ended up shutting the place down as we chatted about art, business, food, drinks, photography, sports, travel, and, of course, Yelp. We even began planning our next get-together for brunch and maybe a future group cruise! I also want to thank Ann for the gorgeous flowers she gifted me for our anniversary; they were lovely! It was a wonderful experience meeting these fantastic Yelpers in real life at such a cozy and enjoyable lounge. A few friends and I were looking for a cozy spot to chat and unwind after dinner, and we found this lovely place located within the Zetta Hotel. It offers a relaxing atmosphere perfect for conversation. I ordered the G&E 75, which was quite enjoyable. The combination of elderflower and grapefruit flavors worked well together, and the cocktail was well-crafted and had a nice strength to it. There's also an upstairs area where you can have fun tossing soccer balls down the wall, along with a pool table and other games. However, the seating can be a bit cramped for larger groups since there isn’t a single large area for everyone. We ended up shifting a few seats together in the back to accommodate our party.

Jenga stackin. Shuffle boardin. Champagne flowin. Ping pongin? LOL. Fun times at S&R lounge! I wish I had the time to play the giant plinko though! Adjacent to Cavalier so it makes for the perfect pre game spot before moving onto other nearby bars (i.e. Novela, The View, etc)

Three words: huge. plinko. wall. Located in the Hotel Zetta, this lounge has a swanky bar downstairs and a cool game room upstairs. The bar venue is gorgeous, service is attentive, and drinks were fancy. But the real fun was upstairs. Not only do you get to play with the plinko, there was a photobooth and tons of other games to play with. Score! Definitely a 2-for-1 kind of lounge. Cheers!
