I used to love this place because even after covid they still deliver the same outstanding quality as ever, till now. We got 3 ramens to go yesterday and the quality is falling a bit. Meat pieces are way smaller, noodles are all glued together. Not happy, but they are still my favorite Ramen in town, so far.
Amazing selection and a cozy niche spot for yummy ramen with different spice levels
We were walking around the area simply walked in for dinner. The first dish we ordered were the Squid Karage and Chicken Karage. The chicken Karage was OK. The squid karage on the other hand was the bomb. It was meaty and not rubbery and very crunchy. I would order it again. The star was definitely the Tonkatsu ramen. The pork was amazing with an edge from a very long braising. My friend got the extra pork and went to town on the pork and simply had the pork and broth. This is definitely to return several times place.
Stopped by here after grabbing a few drinks with a friend in Duboce Triangle The shop itself is very quaint and nice I stopped by later in the night while things were settling down, and there were plenty of tables in the back of the restaurant. I ordered the Original Chicken Karaage and the Garlic ramen The Karaage was very solid the exterior was very crisp and the meat itself was tender and juicy still. The lemon garnish and kewpie Mayo paired perfectly with the chicken. The Ramen was very garlicky (just how I like it) and the broth was rich and flavorful. The pork felt a little dry but overall it was solid. Service wise, I was seated very quickly and the staff were very friendly. My only complaint if anything was that I asked for the Goku Spice level of heat (the highest spicy level) on the ramen and the waitress serving me kept pushing back. I ended up getting the second spiciest option which really didn 't do anything for me as I have an extremely high spice tolerance. Would recommend this spot to anyone who wants to check out a ramen shop in the Mission area
