Contribuiți la feedbackDelicious Yucatecan food! I tried the tacos to sample their stews and was pleasantly surprised. The Cochinita Pibil was really excellent, the Salbutes de Poc-chuc (grilled citrus-marinated pork chop) were delightful, and the Chimole de Pavo (turkey in a dark charred chili sauce) was perfectly spiced, just like I remembered from my visit to Merida. Finally, their Pollo en Mole was exceptional and could be worth ordering as a full plate on its own. Their micheladas were also a great complement to the meal.
Absolutely fantastic! The food was incredible, and the portion sizes met our expectations. The staff were extremely friendly and allowed us to stay and enjoy our meal while we waited for the rest of our group. Inside, the music was a bit loud and it felt somewhat stuffy, but after 6:30 PM, the outdoor area was cool, quiet, and refreshing. This place is perfect for a group of four! I ordered two tacos and shared the Poc-Chuc entrée with three others. The rice that came with the Poc-Chuc was delicious, and the pork was cooked perfectly! The only downside was that we were charged an additional $3 for the...
Unparalleled in its category! The food is fantastic, and on certain weekend nights, the restaurant transforms into a nightclub atmosphere with a DJ, smoke machine, and laser lights—super cool! I tried the cochinita pibil, salpicon, and bistec de res, which was my absolute favorite. The homemade corn tortillas are amazing, and the black beans are equally delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. I've been back twice and ordered the veggie trio both times. It's an outstanding vegetarian (possibly vegan?) option, as all the vegetables are exceptionally good.
This place is amazing. I've only been 4 times so far, and have had a different appetizer and different main each time. So far I've really enjoyed everything love the light flavors and emphasis on citrus. The favorites so far: poc chuc is amazing, Cochinita Pibil succulent and tender, both delightful. Have started to bring out of town guests. The Maya platter was a good sampling, but i'd probably stick with one of the other mains.
Popped into Poc Chuc since it sounded like a different style of Mexican food from the standard Mission places. It was a great choice! The cochinita pibil was deliciously flavored, very tender, and served with a hearty side of homemade thick tortillas, pickled onions, and limes. Plus the server brought out chips and two salsas while I waited both tasty, one really spicy. Will definitely come back next time I'm craving Yucatanean food
