Pianofight - San Francisco

The staff was really great, but the sound was painfully loud. I still can't hear properly a year after a show that took place last Saturday, and today is Tuesday. The volume was incredibly excessive for such a small venue. They were nice enough to sell me some earplugs, but it was still uncomfortable. Overall, it was WAY too loud.

We may have visited on a bad night, as it was nearly empty despite being a Friday at 10 PM. We attempted to sit at the bar, but had to leave after a few minutes due to an unbearable smell of urine. The bathroom appeared to have not been cleaned in weeks, and inexplicably, the door was left propped open, exposing the uncleanliness and allowing the unpleasant odor to permeate the bar area. The drinks were acceptable, so I think giving just one star may be too severe, but I doubt I will return.

I absolutely love Piano Fight! Ever since I moved to the city five years ago, it has been my favorite venue, both to work with and to visit. I've only had positive experiences here. The bartenders are amazing, and the food is consistently great. The atmosphere is relaxed and very welcoming to the queer community. I truly enjoy this place and always recommend it to friends when they come to the city.

Very nice and strong drinks. Alexander is so sweet and handsome. Live music was amazing! I wish I knew how to sing to get up on stage
